Hi, I'm Michael!

I am a student at American University Kogod School of Business, pursuing an MS degree in Marketing Analytics. After helping a small business research and expand its consumer market, social media presence, and clientele, I decided to pursue analytics to continue to support companies prepare strategies to build stronger brands and successful media marketing campaigns. I am looking for opportunities to help polish and improve my marketing and analytics skills. So, If you think you may have an opportunity for me, let’s connect and discuss!

Besides working and/or studying, I love to be cuddled up in a chair or my bed while reading or playing cozy video games like Stardew Valley or Animal crossing. I also love interior design and architecture and spend TOO many hours creating houses in The Sims or spending way too much money decorating my home. Also! I am obsessed with skincare and beauty products and will always be available to recommend or review a product for you :)

 

I may be soft-spoken but I am not afraid to voice my opinion and stand up for what is right.

  • Developed and implemented strategies/campaigns for company’s rebranding resulting in increased media traffic by 100% (100 visits per month). Created and launched a new website using Wix and created media content for Instagram and TikTok.

  • Established, updated, and maintained social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn growing the Integrated Mental Health Service’s social media well over 200%. Utilized social media to market the company’s portfolio, ultimately driving business and increasing the company’s revenue.

The Barter Authority

Oct 2017 - Jan 2019

  • Managed a marketing and PR team consisting of up to 12 interns that helped market and promote hundreds of businesses as well as the Barter  Authority. 

  • Wrote content and found images for advertisements, entered business cards and new member information into a database, created Talk Fusion emails to be sent and contacted recipients to confirm if received.

  • Analyzed barter trades in order to suggest other companies and products to conduct more bartering.

  • Maintained datasheets for invitees to events, sent emails and texts to members on job statuses, updates, and entered responses into respective datasheets.

  • Maintained records and reports of work performed by all 12 interns and maintained relationships with up to 600 members and prospective members.

  • Organized and ran the stores' Layaway department and store orders department.

  • Answered customer questions, encouraged sales, offered advice on products, handled money, layaways, credit payments, and performed multiple customer service duties.
